The Davao Photographers Club or DPC was established in February 27, 2016 by a group of thirteen (13) men and women, driven by a common goal to employ their love and enthusiasm of photography to promote tourism, preserve culture and care for the environment.

THE CAMERA: It represents a group of people who has a common passion in photography and who envisions in promoting culture, tourism and environmental awareness while enhancing the skills of its members and other aspiring photographers.
THE DURIAN FRUIT: It symbolizes the home of the DPC, Davao City, the Durian capital of the Philippines. The thirteen (13) spikes represent the 13-pioneer members.
THE SHUTTER: The five (5) blades symbolize the five (5) core values which are Camaraderie, Respect, Love, Acceptance, and Open communication.
The colors Green represent life, renewal, growth, harmony and nature; Red represents the lifeblood that runs through each member and extends to the community it reaches out to; Black represents strength.

VISION: A solid, united, and progressive family of photographers who envisions in promoting tourism, culture, and environmental awareness as well as enhancing the photography skills of its members and other aspiring photographers while maintaining camaraderie, respect, love, acceptance, and open communication in a fun-loving environment.
MISSION: Davao Photographer’s Club is a group of professional and hobbyist photographers that will help in promoting culture, tourism and environmental awareness through photography in cooperation with other stakeholders.
